Then I added a scrubbie crocheted out of netting.
Next were some new curtains.
Of course, every self-respecting Farmgirl has to have some embroidered dish towels! I don't use mine though, they just hang on the oven door! :)
My latest addition is a dish drainer quilt. The directions were in the latest MaryJanesFarm magazine. Thanks MaryJane!
I used leftover chicken material from making the curtains for one side and the opposite side is sunflowers.
Your dishrags look really nice, I crochet too :)
ReplyDeletejust came across this on your side link. I've got to find this magazine!
ReplyDeleteJust checking out some posts on your sidebar...I apparently missed this one.
ReplyDeleteI guess I must have a farmgirl kitchen...I have most of these items...except the tea towels and the scrubbie! Where do you get the nylon to crochet that little cutie?!

I don't that magazine, but I'm thinking I should! valuable resource! Pat
Those cotton dishcloths last a long time, I just made my first set not to long ago. I enjoy using them. And I too, have an embroidered towel, I crochet a top for it that looks like a little dress and it is hanging on my stove handle. I believe I posted about this adventure....

I think that these designs are really awesome. My wife really likes themes. It's something that I don't understand very much, just like I didn't understand it when my mom did it. I think I'm going to try to get a bunch of matching kitchen accessories for my wife to use on special occasions or when she gets board of our plain ones.
