Thankful Thursday, #2

Today, I am thankful for...

Harriet helping at the Farmer's Market this past summer.

...my mother-in-law.

Jerry's mom got her own place in Green Valley, about an hour away, in November. She hasn't had a chance to make many social contacts yet and she gets lonely. She is here visiting with us this week. Today, we are going to take a trip to Tombstone and Saturday, she is going to go with me to the Farmer's Market. I lost my mom 25 years ago and my dad 5 years ago.  I am thankful that, at 85, Harriet is still with us and that I can enjoy her company! :)

  1. So nice to have a mom around! Even though she isn't your own, it's still nice to have a connection to the older generation.

  11. I wished my Mother would wish to be a part of my activities or my sons - she lives in the world of excuses. I am thrilled for you that your Mother In Law takes an interested - you are blessed.
