Old Bunkhouse


After we took Jerry's mom home on Sunday, we took the scenic route back so I could take some pictures. I have admired this old bunkhouse beside the road for about 25 years so we stopped so I could get some photos for my blog. After I downloaded this picture to the computer and was playing around with editing, I noticed something next to the water tank on the right! Who could it be?!?


Old wiley coyote himself!! I looked at all the other pictures and this was the only one he was in, pretty cool, huh?!?


I love the door and the big metal latch and the way the bark is worn off the top of the posts.


There was one of these signs on each side of the gate leading into the pasture.

    Beautiful pictures! I've only seen things like this in the movies, being all northern and pine treeish and snowish up here...but I sure appreciate that I know people who can see stuff like this everyday!

    Wonderful photos.
    Those coyote are slick-- and they blend in so well with the grass. You never know; he might be hiding in one of the other photos, taking pictures of the strange 3 eyed woman! lol!

    I like going off the beaten path and searching for treasures...

    What a great adventure, I have a couple of coyotes who do not seem to notice me and I them until we are right on each other - glad you caught him on film..
