During our recent trip to New Mexico, our lovely hostess had a beautiful centerpiece of flowers and I just couldn't resist snapping a few pictures!
Linking up with Bonnie for Photo Art Friday where the prompt this week is lines. I figured the lines of text in Bonnie's Vintage Manuscript #2 texture oughta count! ;)
You had me at New Mexico! Lovely and yes those lines count : )
ReplyDeletesimply lovely - edit and texture work great together!
ReplyDeleteThose lines certainly count and create a lovely effect for your lily.
ReplyDeleteVintage Manuscript textures remain some of my best and favorite textures. I love to see them used like this. Thanks Candy!
What a lovely treatment and subject matter! You are so talented!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely image!
ReplyDeleteYou did it again! Great! Aren't those Asiatic--or Oriental--lilies something???
ReplyDeletebeautiful lily!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool photo! I love the manuscript texture. Makes it feel so romantic and soft :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a classy elegant edit Candy. I really like the overlay of the texture
ReplyDeleteShaun Valleys ShutterBug
I really like how you used the texture!
ReplyDeleteYou really need to put your photos in a gallery. They are some of the best work I have seen. We have several gallery's here. Your work would look great in any one of them.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I tend to think that "lines" have to be straight... but you show that it's not necessarily so! A flower can be all lines - albeit soft and curving... the texture adds contrast and emphasizes the effect - very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteOh I beet she would love your interpretation of them I do. Love it. B
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower! I do love the editing you did. Very artistic.
ReplyDeleteLOVELY ! I like what you did with it! ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend, pally.
Stunning piece. I love those lilies and the texture you used is wonderful with the flower.
ReplyDeleteThis flower is so soft and delicate looking...really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteoh how nice to find someone else who went with a different sort of "line" interpretation!! though yours is so pretty... really like this use of texture!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I would love it if you would join me at the Clever Chicks Blog Hop this week! http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/2012/11/clever-chicks-blog-hop-7-country-craft.html
