I love popcorn, it is one of my favorite snacks, and my new favorite "brand" of popcorn comes from Teresa at Eden Hills!! :) Teresa lives in Iowa and grows this yummy popcorn on her farm. Her mom helps her husk, clean and bag it for sale. You can read a fun post she did about it last fall here.
Just look at all this lovely, freshly popped popcorn...mmmm, can't you just smell it?!? Now for some really good news, you too can buy Teresa's popcorn and enjoy it at your house! It's always good to know where your food comes from but how often can you find homegrown popcorn! Teresa has an online store where she sells the popcorn (very reasonably) along with handmade soaps, lip balms, cards, calendars and other goodies! You can find her store here. And if you have never visited Teresa's blog, I highly recommend stopping by to see her goats (and kids!), peacocks, ducks and all the other critters that call Eden Hills home!
These were all the kernels that didn't pop when I made up a batch of Teresa's popcorn over the weekend, pretty good, huh?!?
Disclaimer: I receive nothing for doing this endorsement other than the pleasure of telling my blogging friends about Teresa's wonderful popcorn! :) Linking up with Lisa's Chaos for Macro Monday.
How kind of you to give me a shout out! I'm glad you enjoy the popcorn.
ReplyDeletehow awesome! glad you like her popcorn! i (actually my neighbor and her sister) LOVE her soaps! :)
ReplyDeleteTeresa,
ReplyDeleteIt is honestly the best popcorn I have ever had!
TWG,
I haven't tried the soaps yet... :)
Thanks Candy. I've been searching for good popcorn. I'll have to try some soon.
ReplyDeleteJust curious how you pop your popcorn. Do you use hot air or oil?
ReplyDeleteI will go check it out because I love a good bowl of popcorn, too, and haven't had one in years!
I've not tried the popcorn, but I can vouch for the soaps! They're great! :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Buying or producing homegrown is always the best!

Kristina,
ReplyDeleteI hope you do, it's really, really good!
LindaG,
I use oil only because I don't own a hot-air popper! I use the extra-light-tasting olive oil and then just add salt, no butter.
Tatjana,
Thank you! :)
Alica,
ReplyDeleteI can see I'm going to have to get some soap! :)
Jaime,
I agree wholeheartedly!
Thanks for the helpful information Candy. I love popcorn. Teresa's looks great. I am heading over to check out her shop. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteMmmm... I smell popcorn!
ReplyDeleteHeidi,
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome!
Spare Parts and Pics,
Smells great too! :)
I remember Teresa's posts about growing her popcorn with her mom.
ReplyDeleteVery nice of you to give her talents a nod. :)
Nancy,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed those posts, they were what prompted me to buy some of her popcorn! :)
Awww... what a nice sweet post. We love popcorn here at my house too :)
ReplyDeleteJennifer,
ReplyDeleteThe popcorn is really good, I sure enjoy it!
