Sunday Photo - Iris

I can't believe the irises are getting ready to bloom! I took this picture earlier in the week after watering, I like the sun and shadow and water droplets. By next Sunday, I should have blooms to share! :)

Linking up with Jan at Murrieta 365 for Straight Out Of the Camera Sunday, Nancy at A Rural Journal for Your Sunday Best and Madge at The View From Right Here for Weekly Top Shot.

  11. Our Iris' have almost all bloomed! They'll be fading away soon if these temps keep up like they are.
    High was 82° today.

my purple ones didn't bloom this year. Maybe they'll come on anyway...

This picture is so pretty- I like how you captured the droplets of water. The purple draws you in-

  16. Tombstone Livestock,
Since I don't have daffodils (yet!), the irises are always my first bloomers!

Hopefully, your purple ones are just late bloomers! :)

  20. I can’t believe it either....dafs, yes, but iris...I am amazed. This has been a once in a lifetime winter and easy onset of spring. Beautiful capture. Mr. Linky says my post is listed on the site, but it does not appear. Here is the link should you want to see the mountains of VA where we live. genie

  30. So gorgeous! The color and crisp focus as outstanding! Please forgive me my tardiness in visiting your entry in ‘Weekly Top Shot,’ I have been rather under the weather the past few days, although still working. I'm so glad you decided to join us and share at 'Weekly Top Shot.' :-) I hope you'll come share again next week...
