Socks

Hi, my name is Candy.
I have a problem.
A problem with socks.
You see, I have enough socks for six people.
Two big drawers full of socks.
Cotton socks, wool socks.
Knee-high socks, anklet socks, no-show socks.
Store bought socks, hand knit socks.
Plain socks, colorful socks.
Christmas socks, Halloween socks, Valentine's Day socks.
I even have a pair of socks with toes.
These are my favorite socks.
I love that they are different but yet the same.
How about you?
Do you have a problem with socks?
Whew, I feel better now that I've gotten that off my chest! ;)

  2. I love buying those cheepie holiday socks. But, they are really cheap as I only get three or four "wears" out of them. But hey, what do you want for a buck?! It makes me smile.
BTW, those socks in the picture are AWESOME looking!

  3. I don't share that addiction, sad to say. I'm wondering if you like sock for the same reason I like handbags--they always fit when you try them on! ;)

  5. Haha so funny! I love socks but don't have quite the collection that you do! My mom usually gives me a new pair of Christmas themed socks each year, so I have quite a few of those!

  9. Cute socks! My only problem with them is when only one of the pair goes missing! Normally I find it later wrapped up in underwear or some T-shirt. My granddaughter loves socks, and doesn't seem to care if they match or not- in fact, if they don't match it may be better. She'd love these!

  10. Oh I have the same addiction if you can call it that, one reason may be they are cheaper than shoes but who knows. I do love the ones you are wearing. Happy New Year. B

  11. One year for Christmas ( when the girls were younger) we bought them socks for Christmas as a joke. The next year we didn't buy any. The girls got really upset that there were no socks under the tree. It has become a tradition to buy socks for Christmas. Even though two of my daughters now have families of there own, they still carry on the tradition. we try to buy the funniest or cutest socks we can. This year the twins received Chilly willy and Pink Panther socks.

  12. I have a few pairs of non-white socks, but I buy big packages of white socks all the same, that way when on has a hole in it there is still a match. I can remember when I was little and socks got holes, my mother would get our darning needle and thread and repair them.

  13. I like keeping my feet warm, especially this time of year, so I understand your sock addiction. This reminds me that I need to clean my sock drawer out and get rid of the orphans and holey ones. :-)

  14. How fun! I love those bright socks. The only problem I have with socks is that they all seem to have holes in them.

  21. Candy--I vaguely remembered you telling me your birthday was at the end of December. I said, I think that another friend of mine is just a couple of days after Christmas...we Capricorn babies are the best! :-) So, happy late birthday to you! Love the socks! I don't tend to collect them. Not sure why. This was a cute post!

  22. Those are pretty! I am just a boring black socks kind of girl. And all the same style. That way I don't have to worry about pairs and matching.
