Tuesday Muse - 08/27/2013
How could anyone not love these cheerful faces?! I love these roadside 'weeds' so much that I had Jerry stop the car the other day so I could cut some to enjoy in the house. :)
Oh My! How is it you are familiar with Ella Wheeler Wilcox??? Color me impressed by BOTH - your choice of quote - and your work of art photo . . wish i knew how to do that . . Brilliant!!!!!
The flowers of the Balsamroot, aren't they? Ours are the earliest "wild" blooming out in the open here....I always thought they were a sunflower until I researched them. Lovely editing, Candy!
Love to pick "weeds" and place in a ball jar. We had neighbors over the other night for dinner and he said "I see you are using our weeds from the field for decorating!" I said YEP!!!! :-) I mean who says they are weeds? They are pretty!

ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful! Quite a few years ago, the state reseeded our ditches with wildflowers. It does make them very pretty.
