For Photo Art Friday this week, the optional prompt is Vintage. I took a picture of one of the girls out in the cow pasture and tried to give it a vintage photo look by using Bonnie's Vintage Vellum texture. Then, I couldn't decide if I liked the sepia or the B&W better so you get to see both. ;)
Below is the original, it's Jerry's favorite.
Also sharing with P52 Sweet Shot Tuesday and Weekly Top Shot.
I love your edit. It definitely has the vintage feel.
ReplyDeleteNice job. I like the sepia better only because it looks more "old west" with the subject! What lovely horns she has!
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE the vintage one. Wow longhorns:) You are so good at this editing thing:) B
ReplyDeletegorgeous beast!
ReplyDeleteI love the sepia toned photo. It adds a lot of mystery to the shot. Great job!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I have to say for the vintage prompt, I'd go with the sepia. Makes it feel really old and stained almost :) But they are all great!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm with Jerry - I love the original. It almost looks like an oil painting, with those lovely mountains in the back.
ReplyDeleteAwe, he's so beautiful! I want him :)
ReplyDeleteI like the sepia...it's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the horns. I have this thing for horns and antlers. They're really interesting how they curl. She looks a tetch peeved there...

Fantastic point of view, first, Candy! Beautiful image! I can't decide which edit I like, but maybe I'm leaning towards the sepia one. Again, just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAwesome image to work with.
ReplyDeleteThe Sepia is my favorite. Look at those horns!
That original is wonderful as you see the mountains in the background. Of the two vintage, I like the sepia. Beautiful work, Candy.
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I personally prefer raw, photo that is.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a genuine photo from the times on the plains when teepees and smoke from woodfires would be seen on the horizon.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, perfect for the theme!
ReplyDeleteCreative Photography of this beautiful animal ^_^
ReplyDeletewonderful shot in the first place..and they are all great but I prefer the sepia as well ;)
ReplyDeleteYour photos always manage to elicit emotions. How do you do that? 'Tis talent. Always makes the Goatmother feel like when she was a kid in the 50's and watching cowboy shows on TV. :) Me? I just wish I had horns like that.
ReplyDeleteThis flatlander will very much pic the last photo with the mountains showing their spendor.
ReplyDeleteI'd hate to run into him in a dark alley... he looks MEAN! Love the shot & edits =)
ReplyDeleteI think I like the sepia the best, but they are all great!
ReplyDeleteAll three of these are so different, but they are all wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI like the colors, but the sepia tone fits the 'vintage' category nicely. She sure has a nice rack (horns silly). :p
ReplyDeletefantastic motif!! love how you edited it!
ReplyDeleteI would love this image in my living room ranch home.. if I had ranch home wink... but for real everything you did an awesome job here.. looks prefect..
ReplyDeleteHugs
I prefer the black and white! My husband would prefer the original as well. :) What a handsome lady. I meant that has a compliment to her, of course!

ReplyDeleteI think I like the sepia better, it give the piece a nice warm tone. Very cool looking.
