I love using unique items to display flowers. Years ago I would enter craft items into our county fair and one of the categories was "Unique Display of Flowers", one year I won with a display of flowers in a carburetor. Love the boot that you used for your display, very nice! Happy Sunday!
By the way, I just learned that about the baby saguaros! I didn't know they started out under trees that would die before they got too big. That's so interesting!
They are beautiful even if they are drying. I have never thought about a dried carnation...the antique shoe vase is precious and adds so much to the overall capture. genie
