The Neighbors' Carrots

Our very nice neighbors said we could have all the carrots we wanted from their garden...they had a LOT!! Jerry helped me dig up most of them the other day and this is what I did with them today. :)

Good for you! I have to research for next year doing pressure canning on my outdoor propane stove. Can't do in on the glass-topped range... Did the horses, goats, etc. get any??? :)

Now that is a lot of carrots! I've never canned them, as my family isn't crazy about carrots, but I love seeing them lined up on your counter! :)

Mmmmmmmmmm, the fresh look scrumptious. And the canned work makes my mouth water!!! Yummy.

You say Southeast Arizona...somewhere around Douglas then maybe? We lived in Tucson for 10 years before relocating to the Gulf Coast....I LOVE AZ!!!

Way to go! I haven't done any canning this summer :( Too hot and not that much ready from my garden all at once. Hoping for some ripe tomatoes soon!

They look so good. I love carrots too and it will be so convenient for you to grab a jar when you need them instead of having to wash peel and cook...
