I always enjoy seeing this mural! To me, it is so evocative of the history of this area. :)
It is painted on the side of the Arizona Saddle Blanket Company in Benson, AZ; the owner is a friend of Jerry's. Aaron also sells saddles, tack, ammo and guns. The building is from the turn of the last century and even has a punched tin ceiling.
This mural was painted by Pablo Alonzo in 2004.
Linking up with Monday Mural this week. Hop on over to see some really neat murals from all over the world!

I love seeing nicely painted murals. There are several here in Lancaster...some are of quilts, some depict community life, and some are actually old advertisements. They add interest to the landscape, that's for sure!
Fun mural, perfect for its spot.
really nice! especially for that type of business!
I can´t help thinking on that famous John Ford´s film, The stagecoach.
Great mural! Pembroke has quite a few up and around. My girlfriend's mom actually painted a number of them, which is really cool.
This style certainly suits the building!
What a fantastic mural, it helps to keep the history of the area alive.

That is beautiful! I love when people use those old buildings and turn them into art.

That is a fabulous mural! I will have to come see it! I am planning on doing a few Mondays Murals myself, and have been collecting photos of a few. Been watching Hell on Wheels....have you guys gotten interested in that serial? Can't seem to get enough of the Western flavor of things! :-)
