Sunday Photo - Old Church

This is the old church at Fort Stanton in Lincoln County, New Mexico. I like the stonework on this old building but I really, really like the door!

Check out those hinges!! :)

So cool . I knew if had to be in the southwest , absolutely beautiful and so pretty ! What history it must have, if walls could talk !

Beautiful! I really like those hinges too, but I find the number on the door a bit out of place. It looks like one of those word verification numbers. :-)

Oh yes, the stones are beautiful but you're right the door is the icing on the cake! Thank you for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #54!

Wow. That is just awesome! Those have to be hand forged, right? Amazing.

LOVE that door!! The hinges--wow! I love craftsmanship--when people do things because they can and push their limits.

Looks like it will be there to please visitors for many years to come. If that door were smaller, I would swear it was something from The Hobbit.

Really gorgeous pics, Candy! No wonder you like those hinges... they look a little bit like somebody's moustache a couple of posts ago!

Hey, I have to tell you... it has turned very wintery here in Ohio because of Sandy but some hardy radishes are still trying to survive. I'm not a fan of radishes, I only grow them for the chickens. But I remembered your post about sauteing them, and I tried it... and really liked them that way! Thank you for sharing that idea a while back!
