Today, I am thankful for
Flannel sheets dried outside on the line.
My blogger friend Julie at Mooberry Farm Homesteading Journal does a Thankful Thursday post every week and it got me to thinking. By taking just one day a week and focusing on something to be thankful for, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem at the time, it would make me more appreciative of my life and all the wonderful people, animals and "things" in it. And as an added bonus, it would give me more structure in my blogging! LOL!! Thanks Julie for being my inspiration! :)

it is a very good idea. reminds us readers to stop and think a minute, too! :)
Not fair! My clothes would have been frozen solid if I tried that today! Can't wait to hang my clothes on my line, but I have to wait until spring! But cool for you!
You need flannel sheets in Arizona??? We've had the flannel sheets on for months now. It's nice to snuggle in on a cold winter's night.
I agree--flannel sheets are something to be thankful for! We just got ours on the bed last weekend.... so comfy. Even better when dried on the clothesline!
TWG,
That's what Julie's posts always make me do! :)
SweetLand Farm,
If it's any consolation, we ARE having some unseasonably warm weather!
Paula,
Don't forget, we have "thin blood" down here in the desert so it seems pretty cold to us! LOL!!
Julie,
Yep, there's nothing like them! :)
Candy, I'm thankful for you and your lovely posts, yummy recipes, helpful hints, and fun pictures!
homegrown countrygirl,

Candy,
I like this idea. I am going to see if I can discipline myself to join you sometime on Thankful Thursday.
Heidi,
Thanks for the Liebster! :)
I sometimes can't decide what to post on my blog and I think I will do better with more of a "schedule!" LOL!!
Nice, cute post. Its nice to thing about the lil things we are thankful for... today I got to hang my sheets out & that made me happy, lol. Some of my city friends would think I was so weird for sayin that.
I so wish I could line dry my clothes. My gravel road is so busy that my clothes would be more dirty than when I started washing them. What a great thing to be thankful for.
Jennifer,
Well, they just don't GET it do they?!? ;-)
Teresa,
We are lucky that we live at the end of our dirt road, maybe three cars all day!
We have a clothesline, but I haven't really used it. I hang my bird feeders on it instead. :) I was thinking about frozen sheets when I saw this photo as well.
Kateri,
We have been lucky with some nice weather this past week! :)
We love our flannel sheets, and so do the kids.
Kristina,
We do too and I've even convinced Jerry's mom how great they are, even in Arizona! LOL!!
