Chats on the Farmhouse Porch - 02/26/2013

I'm joining Patrice at Everyday Ruralty for Chats on the Farmhouse Porch this week. What a fun idea, thanks Patrice!! :)

1. Is there a room in your home that you'd like to redecorate or remodel?

My KITCHEN!! It is just waaayy too small, especially with my little bakery business.

2. Did you watch the Oscars?

No. It's funny, though, Jerry didn't want to watch but I had to look up all the winners for him the next morning on the internet! LOL!!

3. How many pair of blue jeans do you own?

Ten...but I can only fit into three pair right now. (sigh)

4. What was your favorite toy as a child?

I had a stuffed purple bunny that I got for Easter one year, I LOVED that bunny! :)

5. If you could visit a country in Europe, which would you choose?

Ireland...no, wait, Russia...no, wait, Ireland...no, wait...

If you would like to sit and Chat on the Farmhouse Porch with us go visit Patrice and link up!! :)

Number 3 is something I could have posted :)

It sure is hard to pick just one European country!

I laughed at #3 as well.

Blue jeans lay in waiting here for me to go down or up in weight. I vote for Ireland. I have priced flights to there and New Zealand both. Never hurts to dream.

What fun!
I guess...I must think differently; #3 had me thinking, maybe the others are too big...and the (sigh) was...$$$ to buy smaller jeans!
...It could happen!

I own multiple pairs of jeans in sizes 3 to 12. It is pitiful, but my weight fluctuates so much it is crazy. Although at almost 50 I think it is a good bet that I will never get into a size 3 or 5 again....7 is a possibility though.

I enjoyed your answers. I have jeans I don't fit into as well. :( Ireland or Russia would be fabulous. I hope you get to both someday.

LOL!!! I think I only have 7 pairs of jeans...one pair really gives me a muffin top though...but heck, the others all all good!...:)JP

How fun! I was so excited for the Oscars, but I found it to be really boring! I ended up recording it and fast forwarding through most of it.

Ireland-definitely Ireland! A big kitchen is nice, especially with a business. I hope you have a great week!

#3 jeans. Two that I wear but fortunately the older pairs are too big (for a change)! Don't congratulate me though, it's more from diverticulitis and work stress than exercise and dieting. Either way works though! LOL

I don't watch the awards shows either except we saw part of the country music awards but not sure which ones.

I like your answers. :)

Throw away the jeans that don't fit and get yourself some new ones. If you change sizes (up OR down), you may buy some more. You will thank me for this advice when you have more jeans in your drawer.

London and Paris. Oh, I'd love to see them both!

I have been to Europe. But not Ireland. That's where my grandmother and grandfather are from. I so need to go.
We are redoing our 5th wheel. I love the trailer, but hated the pattern on the furniture.

Didn't watch the Oscars. Had no interest.

I loved reading your answers. I had to smile at the jeans because I'm right there with you on that one!

Such an interesting "chat" Candy! I learned some new things about you, too. I actually got to go to Ireland with my Mom, and it was a trip of a lifetime! Would love to go to Russia. hey, you and I need to get together again. We have STUFF to talk about! :-)

This was fun! To pick one country in Europe would be quite a challenge. I have had the pleasure of traveling to Norway with my parents (to see my grandmother's birthplace). WOW!! Now I want to see more - of Norway and so much more of the globe.
