Chats on the Farmhouse Porch/Tuesday Muse - 05/07/2013

1. How many loads of laundry do you do each week (about)?

At least thirteen and there is only the TWO of us!!

2. Where do your household pets sleep? If you have no pets, please skip to the next question.

The two cats start out in the living room but Bob always ends up in the bed down by my feet sometime during the night.

3. What is your favorite thing to listen to while you drive?

Classic rock on the radio.

4. Do you have to do a big clean-up when you have company, or are you always ready for guests?

I do wish my house was cleaner (like it used to be) but I never have to ask someone to wait outside while I pick things up. ;-)

5. What's your favorite breakfast food?

Recently, it has been egg and cheese sandwiches but I go through phases. Sometimes it's yogurt with fruit and granola.

Joining Patrice for Chats on the Farmhouse Porch and Nancy for Tuesday Muse.

The flower photo was edited with two layers of Nancy's Sakura texture at Soft Light 100% and one layer of Nancy's Asian Influence at Soft Light 50%.

my house is never messy - i don't like clutter or stuff sitting around. but it's always dusty, full of dog hair and decorated with dog footprints on the tile! :)

Oh I love your answers my house is comfortable and that never stopped anyone from coming in yet but living on a gravel road and burning wood makes for dust.
I love egg and cheeses sandwiches and now I am going to have one when I get up in the morning thinking about it. Love the texture print. B

My house stays pretty neat, if you don't mind dog hair and yarn everywhere.

Lovely, creamy pink floral.

I like to think my house is ready for visitors at any time. If I do know I am having out of town gusts I will just make sure I have done my weekly cleaning.

I like your responses, Candy. I am glad no one has had to wait outside for you to make your house presentable ...lol!

Laundry depends on the week. Calving season and mud makes for more washing. I would say at least 3 loads a week, more when I change bed sheets, wash towels etc.

Molly has a bed in the living room and Fritz has been sleeping outside in her dog house.

I am a neat freak. My house is usually presentable.

As for breakfast, COFFEE! Then I have some fruit and peanut butter or homemade bread. I know a gal that has some really awesome recipes that she shares on her blog. ;)

I've learned today that my house is "lived in". I like it that way comfortable & welcoming. Have a blessed week.

Laundry never seems to end, does it?

My house is always clean. Always. I vacuum every single day--but we have a small house and that kitty litter just seems to get all over and that drives me nuts. People always say my house is too neat--whatever that means.

I like oatmeal for breakfast.

hey--these are good questions!

My house is ready almost. As long as you don't mind water around the dogs bowl, cat hair on the sofa, or a wet kiss on your cheek ( From the cats )waking you up in the morning.
Favorite breakfast food would have to be Grits .
I listen to Country when driving.
Two loads a day.
Animals pretty much sleep where they want except for the sofas and chairs.

Candy I am doing a craft swap. I would love to have you join it. A cook book of your wonderful breads would make a great craft ( hint, hint ).

Laundry...I'm guessing between 15-20 loads a week! Messy house...oh my. I wish I could say it isn't! How I wish! And for breakfast...we have so many eggs right now, that it's EGGS every day! But I do love a bowl of home made granola when I have it on hand!

My house is a fracking mess -- but we live in it, so what do you do?

Loved your answers -- seems I'm always doing laundry even though there's only 2 of us.

Beautiful edit Candy!

Laundry! Ugh. I do a lot of it with 7 of us here. I too, go through phases for breakfast. Yesterday I picked fresh asparagus, cooked it up with green peppers and onions, and mixed in a few eggs. Oh..and had a banana too.

I enjoyed this little farmhouse chat! It's always fun to find out those little tidbits about blogging buddies. That photo is absolutely perfect!

My house is rarely messy, but it certainly isn't spotless either. I went to my place down south last weekend, it was beautiful down there. Next time I get down we will have to meet for sure.

Love your list : ) Same for me on the music. As far as the house goes - I am constantly cleaning - but nobody better show up unannounced - or they probably won't be invited in.
We will just go look at the goats :)

What a sweet edit of the lovely flowers. - I enjoyed your chat too. I love Classic Rock and Granola and Yogurt for breakfast.

Two loads of laundry a week - with an occasional 'dog' load and a linens load.

Anywhere they want EXCEPT the bedrooms.

I listen to my thoughts or a book on CD.

House? Clean? In my mind. My friends don't complain - it's neat enough but, along with everyone else, pets leave their mark.

Oatmeal in winter and homemade granola in the summer, with lots and lots of fruit!

Candy - forgot to say how much I love that photograph of the flowers! What lovely color and treatment!

I don't do any laundry. I mean how many goats do laundry? But the Goatmother does. :)

Patrice said...

You do far more laundry than I do, considering there are 6 of us. I go through phases for breakfast too. Have a great week!
